Thunderhawk, car number 18, was active from 2011 - 2012. This series hybrid featured a Honda GXH50 engine (1.6 kW at 6500 RPM) running on gasoline. It is equipped with a PMW GPN16 brushed PM generator and four Agni 119-R brushed PM drive motors, delivering a combined power of 120 kW (162 hp peak) at 6000 RPM. The power system is supported by a 111V, 48Ahr SMC Lithium Polymer accumulator. Thunderhawk marked IIT's first appearance at the Chicago Auto Show in 2014.
